The Ministry of Education (the Ministry) is inviting Registrations of Interest from suitably qualified main contractors for the upgrade of classrooms at Whangarei Primary School.

This Procurement is for: (refer to attached site plan)
• Repairs/replacement of various roofs to existing school roofs
• Electrical and lighting upgrades to existing and renovated school buildings.
• Provide warm water to two boys and girls toilet blocks including plumbers work to Block 20 extension and alterations.
• Block 20 - Rooms 5, 6 and 7. Construction of new extension to the existing Block, new roof structure and roof covering including Interior alterations, renovations and services.
• Block 10 and 10a incorporating rooms 23 and 24 builders work, internal alterations and renovation, including new roof structure, roof covering, ceilings, wall linings, services and floor finishes.
• Block 4 – Internal alterations and provision of electrical and media services to convert existing room to library/media centre. Relocate “Lundia” type shelving to existing/former library block and reinforce sub floor to accommodate same.
