The Ministry of Education and the Board of Trustees is seeking a Main building contractor for the Block B and Block O ILE (Innovative Learning Environment) Upgrade project at Te Wharau School near Gisborne.
The project comprises:
- Block O ILE upgrade which includes removing the wall between the 2 cloak-bays to make 1 breakout space. This includes re-lining the walls with 12mm plywood and Autex vertiface composition, new suspended ceiling and Tandus carpet tile floor coverings.
- Upgrade of the toilet block and cloak-bay area in Block B including new polystyrene insulation, hardiglaze over 7mm plywood wall linings, new polyflor flooring, new toilet pans and basins, new hardiglaze ceiling lining and insulation.
- An ILE upgrade of the offices/ resource area to create a breakout space and resource area. This will be lined with 12mm plywood, overlain with Autex vertiface Composition, new suspended ceiling and floor coverings.
