The Department of Corrections, Ara Poutama Aotearoa is calling for Registrations of Interest (ROI) for the provision of prison-based, face-to-face, Intensive Literacy and Numeracy Support Services (LNSS) that will support increased English literacy and numeracy skills for adult learners. Ara Poutama Aotearoa is seeking a provider to support progression of adult learners from Step 1 and 2 to Step 3 of the Literacy and Numeracy Adult Assessment Tool (LNAAT).

This ROI is in respect to Part 1. of the parent Future Procurement Opportunity (FPO) only. The provision of published LNSS materials that will provide maintenance and progression support to learners at Step 3 and 4 of the LNAAT will be a separate procurement and is expected to be released later this month.

This Registration of Interest was the first of a two step procurement process. This first step has now been concluded and following an evaluation shortlisted providers have been invited to respond to a closed Request for Proposal (step two).
