Ara Poutama Aotearoa is requesting for proposals for the provision of prison-based, face-to-face, Intensive Literacy and Numeracy Support Services (LNSS) that will support increased English literacy and numeracy skills for adult learners. Ara Poutama Aotearoa is seeking a provider to support progression of adult learners from Step 1 and 2 to Step 3 of the Literacy and Numeracy Adult Assessment Tool (LNAAT).

a. This request for proposals (RFP) is an invitation by Ara Poutama Aotearoa to shortlisted respondents to the preceding registration of interest process.
b. This RFP is the second step in a 2-step procurement process.
c. The Proposal for this RFP is primarily a presentation by the Respondent to the Buyer over
the week beginning of the 17 April 2023.
d. The term Proposal is used throughout the RFP documentation and it means all of the
Respondent’s response documentation (price response and non-price response) as well as
the presentation material provided plus the presentation itself.
