Waikato District Council are seeking an experienced contractor, with a suitably qualified team or relationships with suitably qualified subcontractors to deliver the Port Waikato court renewal as per detailed designs at Phillips Reserve by the end of June 2026.

A high-level overview of the scope of the works for the Port Waikato court renewal at Phillips Reserve is below:
• Demolition of the existing tennis court
• Construction of minor drainage works
• Installation of a new concrete tennis court with an acrylic surface, runoff space included.
• Installation of new 3x3 court with reversible hoop for netball
• Construction of new concrete footpath

The 3x3 basketball court will double as a surface for a modular pump track being supplied by the community.

The detailed designs produced by Waikato District Councils in house technical team are attached as part of this tender package.
