Following completion of the works, sections of the adjacent slope experienced subsidence, resulting in unsupported areas of concrete footpath and scour damage to parts of the gravel path. Reviews undertaken by Council staff, the original designers, and the contractor confirmed the works were generally completed in accordance with the approved design. <br><br>Council is now seeking a supplier to undertake remedial works to address the affected areas while also progressing the next stage of the Domain walkway network by constructing as much additional footpath as possible within the available budget.
