The objective of the Neighbourhood Playgrounds Renewal Project is to deliver refreshed and upgraded play equipment in alignment with Waikato District Council’s Playground Strategy. These works involve the renewal of existing playgrounds at established sites, enhancing facilities to encourage community use and increase local activity.
The scope includes the installation of various items of playground equipment, resurfacing, retaining structures, and site furniture. Huntly West Playground will also be relocated within the reserve to a more practical and accessible location.
