Waikato District Council’s existing Parks and Open Spaces Maintenance contract expires in July 2026. This includes the delivery of the following services:
• Routine maintenance including mowing, edge trimming, gardening, cleaning etc – parks, cemeteries, sports grounds, gardens, playgrounds, courts, structures, park furniture and trails;
• Scheduled maintenance and renewal activities as required – sports field line marking, grave digging, drainage, court and playground surfacing renewals;
• Provisional sums for quoted works (to include additional works as appropriate) – sports ground treatments, park furniture, railing & structure repairs;
• Specialised activities such as playgrounds, boat ramps and beach grooming.
