The key objective of this procurement is to engage a supplier with proven experience and expertise, for the enabling words of CCTV camera sites across nine priority locations in the Waikato District.
The existing CCTV surveillance system is not fit for purpose and does not effectively assist police investigations. Enabling works involve sourcing and engaging a qualified and reputable supplier/installer for power and data network connectivity, ensuring full compliance with all relevant regulations and obtaining a Code of Compliance. The success of this program hinges on enabling works, as each camera relies on them to be activated and connected. Each power and communications provider has their own lead times, making it crucial to initiate enabling works immediately to maintain a practical completion timeframe for such a large-scale project.
We are seeking to appoint a qualified and reputable supplier to deliver this project to a high quality, whilst providing a competitive price.
