Waikato District Council (“WDC”) welcomes offers of proposal to undertake a cultural assessment for Ngaaruawaahia & Taupiri
WDC is currently updating the 2014 Ngaaruawaahia Structure Plan and would like to include a cultural assessment of the study area, the assessment will provide a sound cultural understanding of the relationship and values between Maaori and the environment. Identify how the proposal may impact Tangata Whenua and as well identify outcomes sought by Tangata Whenua in terms of the Structure Plan and Town Centre Plan
The Cultural assessment outcomes will be used to Inform the Ngaaruawaahia, Hopuhopu, & Taupiri Structure Plan / Ngaaruawaahia Town Centre Plan.
