Advanced Notice for C000000191 Pokeno Sports Park Earthworks and Carpark RFT
Waikato District Council (WDC) wishes to notify contractors of the upcoming Request for Tender (RFT) for the Pokeno Sports Park Earthworks and Carpark Contract.

The Works are expected to be carried out using an NZS3910 form of contract using Measure
& Value with Lump Sum elements.

The project is for Bulk Earthworks and Carpark Construction and includes the supply and the establishment of all labour, plant, and materials (unless otherwise specified) necessary to carry out the required of works, including but are not limited to, the provision of the following significant items:
• All Erosion and Sediment Control (E+SC) design,
• Onsite implement of E+SC using best practice Erosion and Sediment Control techniques,
• Implementation of the fish management plan,
• Topsoil stripping and respreads,
• Minor site won cut to fill,
• Importation of 34,000m3 of structurally certified cut to fill,
• Compliance with all consent conditions,
• Geotechnical treatments inclusive of gravel rafts and underfill drainage,
• Geotechnical management of project inspection and test plan inspections and hold point requirements and provision of geotechnical completion report,
• Carpark construction.

Physical works are to be programmed between November 2022 and April 2023.
