This project aims to provide a connection from Horsham Downs Road to the Waikato Expressway Interchange interchange and underpass. Further to this, there is a need to provide safety at the intersection joining Horsham Downs Road to the Waikato Expressway.


General Project Works Description:
The works will involve the following construction needs.
• Enabling works for sediment and erosion controls and all other consent conditions,
• Large volume of cutting to fill earthworks from the nearby borrow site (or fill) into the road embankment,
• Pedestrian underpass for shared path connectivity,
• An off-grade shared path,
• Stormwater drainage including kerb and channel,
• New road pavement,
• Surfacing, landmarking, and signage, and
• Stabilisation of embankment and planting.
