Waikato District Council (WDC) is looking for Providers who have the capability and capacity to undertake the construction of an extension to the existing Tuakau Library building and the refurbishment of the existing building.
The key objective of this procurement is to get a new modern Community facility that is more accommodating to the various demographics of the Community. The objective of renovating and modernising the facility is to invigorate and increase overall patronage of the library. Another aim is to establish a community cultural centre that can be used by all members of the community.
We need a motivated contractor to deliver this project to the highest quality, whilst having the necessary care and consideration for the community they are delivering to.

It is important to WDC that through this project, local building companies, local building suppliers or local community members are employed.
