Notice of Contract for Tuakau Library Extension and Refurbishment
WDC is looking for Providers who have the capability and capacity to undertake the construction of an extension to the existing Tuakau Library building and the refurbishment of the existing building. The construction will include but not limited to all services to the extension, foundation, plumbing, electrical and installation of storm water tank.
In the next few weeks Waikato District Council will advertise a tender for the building and refurbishment of Tuakau Library which is located at 72 George Street Tuakau. The proposed RFP presents a significant opportunity for Waikato District Council and a Licensed building practitioner to work together to deliver a new modern Community facility that is more accommodating to the various demographics of the Community.
Waikato District Council and the Tuakau community would like to encourage local businesses to respond to this RFP. Part of the evaluation will be focused on how the contractor can deliver additional value to the Tuakau community through consideration and inclusion of the local economy in some way
