The University of Canterbury requires a contracted supplier to provide qualified security personnel on an as-required basis to support campus operations, events, leave cover and emergency situations across UC campuses and associated facilities.
Guards’ services will be ordered via email on an as required basis; there are no set hours.
Required times to provide staff on site
• General rostered shifts or function guards – 24 hours-notice
• Sick leave cover – 3 hours - notice
• Emergency or disaster situations – 3 hours - notice

Respondents will need to meet all preconditions in order to proceed to evaluation stage. Suppliers who cannot meet precondition criteria, should conclude they will not benefit from submitting a response.
