Overview:	UC is seeking a qualified IQP provider to deliver BWOF inspection and certification services of named Mechanical Specified Systems across its campuses. The IQP/BWOF provider will have a strong HVAC, smoke control, fire compliance, and emergency systems capability. The work involves carrying out inspections, reviewing maintenance and reporting on a building's specified systems to identifying compliance risks, and issuing certification required under the Building Act. This is critical work that directly supports UC’s ability to meet its legal compliance obligations. The systems have been split into two scopes. Suppliers can submit a proposal for either of the scopes. If a supplier is able to deliver both scopes, please indicate this as well and submit your proposal accordingly. The scopes are split as follows: SCOPE 1: SS4 Emergency Lighting and SS14.1 Emergency Power Systems SCOPE 2: SS5 Escape Route Pressurisation System; SS9 Mechanical Ventilation or Air Conditioning Systems; SS13.1 Mechanical Smoke Control Systems; SS13.2 Natural Smoke Control; SS13.3 Smoke Curtain UC prefers a provider that delivers the majority of the services using its own in-house resources, rather than primarily acting as an intermediary and subcontracting the work to third parties. Overview:	This ROI is the first step in a multi-step procurement process. Following evaluation shortlisted Respondent/s will be invited to submit a full proposal in response to a Request for Proposals (RFP). This document deals only with the first step i.e. the ROI process. This Registration of Interest is for the supply of sufficient plant, labour and materials necessary for the construction and installation of physical boiler resilience works on an active and busy University Campus. The main requirement is the ability for UC to arrange delivery of temporary portable boilers to connect into the existing heating infrastructure as and when required. The contractor will be able to utilise a range of installation methodologies to best suit stakeholder requirements to install the foundation and infrastructure connections to complete the boiler resilience project using a NZS3910:2013 contract. It is important to note that the final design is currently being developed and as such outputs and deliverables are subject to change.

Overview:	o UC requires a new platform for managing staff personnel documents. The current custom-built system utilises SharePoint 2016 and PSI Capture for document capture and data extraction but has reached end of life. This system stores essential files such as offer letters, Inland Revenue notifications, job change records, and other employee-related documents. A replacement solution is needed that integrates seamlessly with Workday HCM. While Workday provides basic document storage and display capabilities, it lacks comprehensive Document Management System functionalities, including document lifecycle management (creation, versioning, approvals, retention, auditing, and secure disposal). o The proposed solution will introduce document compliance protocols, including information retention policies, to ensure records are not maintained for more than seven years following an employee's departure. At present, only HR personnel have access to these files; however, the updated platform will enable Payroll, HR staff, managers, and employees to access pertinent documents. o The solution will be deployed alongside Workday HCM.

This procurement will establish a high-quality recording capability at the Ron Ball Studio in the Christchurch Town Hall, enabling professional-standard orchestral, ensemble, and screen scoring recording activities. The equipment will be jointly utilised by UC and the CSO under an agreed Memorandum of Understanding and will support teaching, research, creative production, and industry engagement activities. The investment represents a strategic initiative for UC by enabling a critical missing component of the Digital Screen Programme production lifecycle, particularly in film, game, and animation music scoring. The portable nature of the equipment will also allow flexible deployment across multiple environments, including live events, broadcasting, and off-site recording activities. The large amount of airborne particles within the workshop currently poses a health and safety risk to staff using the workshop and students learning within the space. The university aims to have a workshop extract system that removes all risk to students and staff by removing as much of the airborne particulates from the space as possible. In order to do this, there is a need for a functional and efficient extraction system. There is a currently installed dust extract system which upon survey was underperforming significantly due to an undersized fan and aging ductwork. WHAT WE REQUIRE: THE SOLUTION We seek the services of a main contractor to carry out the following works: 1. A main contractor to supply and install the dust extract system. 2. A contractor that seriously considers safe and accessible maintenance requirements. 3. A contractor that has a proven track record of working with clients to achieve the required outcomes. 4. A contractor capable of working within the University’s unique environment. 5. A contractor that can deliver high quality material outcomes to the University. It is intended the building remains in use and occupied throughout the contract works.
