The University of Canterbury (UC) is seeking proposals for the supply, installation, commissioning, training, warranty, and ongoing support of a replacement High-Resolution Mass Spectrometry (HRMS) platform, including associated Ultra-Performance Liquid Chromatography (UPLC) capability, for the School of Physical and Chemical Sciences (SPCS).
The project arises from the replacement of an existing mass spectrometry system and associated UPLC equipment. The University is seeking a contemporary solution that best meets its current and future research requirements while delivering value for money over the life of the asset.
The proposed system will support a broad range of advanced analytical research activities across chemistry, biochemistry, materials science, environmental science, and related disciplines. The University is seeking a high-performance platform that offers long-term capability, analytical flexibility, reliability, and strong vendor support.
UC intends to undertake a competitive procurement process involving selected suppliers. The procurement will assess technical capability, whole-of-life value, implementation approach, service support, and long-term sustainability to identify the solution that best meets the University's requirements.
