The University of Canterbury (UC) has adopted a consolidated procurement approach for laboratory equipment since 2024, combining university-wide requirements for laboratories.
With established success in procurement efficiency and cost effectiveness last years, this year again we are running the consolidated procurement project of UC wide general laboratory equipment. This project aims to source commonly used general laboratory instruments that support the broad operational needs of laboratories to enhance and improve teaching and research.
It ensures to streamline the purchasing process, leverage economies of scale and greater consistency in equipment standards across the UC. The opportunity will be made available exclusively to UC’s preferred laboratory suppliers under the Syndicated Panel & Framework (P&F) contract agreement.
