We are looking for respondents to provide a response to either the Project Management Services or the Programme Consultant services using the one RFP process.
Please note: that the interview process is only going to be used for the external PM services.
The Recreation Centre (SS29) invests significant capital in transforming Kirkwood Fields into a modern recreation and sports facility. The project includes a 2-level structure with a concrete raft slab, covering an approximate gross floor area of 5,600m². Key features of the facility include:
* Indoor courts for various sporting activities.
* Multi-purpose rooms designed for flexible use.
* Dedicated fitness areas equipped with high-quality equipment.
* Welcoming social spaces aimed at fostering interaction and community development.
The site development will also enhance on-campus amenities, including:
* A multi-purpose sports field.
* Basketball court.
* A plaza that will connect existing and new facilities.
* New pathways and connections within the campus are planned, along with parking enhancements.
To successfully deliver this project, UC seeks to procure the following professional services:
1. Project Management (external) services, including Engineer to the Contract and Contract Administration responsibilities.
2. Programme Consultancy, responsible for monitoring the design and construction programme and managing EOT claims.
In line with New Zealand Construction Industry Council Guidelines, the engagement will encompass the following stages:
1. Preliminary Design
2. Developed Design
3. Detailed Design
4. Construction Administration and Observation
5. Post Completion
