Asbestos is present in the basement of the West building. UC requires a suitably experienced and qualified contractor to safely remove and responsibly dispose of the asbestos material as required.
UC’s intention to make the West Building basement safe (Contract Works) is a step towards achieving its strategic objectives by remediating the West basement area in accordance with the report from Chemsafety, and as per the guidance of the UC Asbestos Manager (Project).

There is a mandatory site visit - 13:00 to 15:00 on Monday 29 04 2024 – please see the details in the RFP and how to register for it
