The University of Canterbury is looking at options for external gardening and grounds services for part of our Christchurch campus. As noted in the RFI documents, the University may do nothing with the supplied information or could appoint a supplier for the work stated (there would be further negotiation if we sought to engage your services).
Our requirement is for 40 hours per week of gardening services (Sole Charge Gardener) and additional wide-area-mowing (up to 475 hours per year) to be provided on the University of Canterbury’s (UC) Dovedale Campus. In addition to labour, we require the service provider to supply the equipment required to complete the tasks, but we would consider supplying the equipment if there was a compelling case. This would normally include vehicle and tools, including a mower (consumables supplied by UC). There is also an additional 150 hours of leaf pick up over two months in autumn.
