The University of Canterbury is seeking Registrations of Interest (ROI’s) from suitably qualified main building contractors who are interested to provide Construction Services to the University for the new UCSA Building at the Ilam Road campus. This is a chance for a quality Main Building Contractor to work with the University as part of their Capital Works programme.
The University in conjunction with the University of Canterbury Student Association (“UCSA” or “the Student Association”) have engaged a Design Team to design a purpose-built IL3 student association building which will provide the student body with a number of facilities including a Performance Centre/Theatre, Function Centre, Social Spaces, Club Spaces, Bars and UCSA office with an approximate GFA of 3500m². Construction of the building is due to commence in mid-2017 we are now seeking the services of a Main Building Contractor. We aim to occupy the building by December 2018 or earlier.
