MPI seeks to procure a research project to support and extend the work of the Global Research Alliance on Agricultural Greenhouse Gases, specifically its Livestock Research Group.
The project title is: "Using naturally-produced lovastatin to reduce methane emissions: evaluation of delivery technology in different ruminant production systems".
The expected outcome at the end of the research period is a proof of concept that Lovastatin is a viable mitigation technique to reduce methane production in vitro.
