Overview:	The Primary Sector Growth Fund (PSGF) provides support on a co-investment basis to help primary sector businesses, industry bodies, and other groups to: - leverage opportunities or address problems - create benefits for New Zealand and themselves. Proposals may cover multiple aspects of the food and fibre sector’s value chain — new products, technology and services, or new ways of operating, producing, marketing, handling and distributing. The primary purpose of a project could be economic, environmental, social, or cultural. However, applications must show us how success in the project will enable direct economic benefits for the food and fibre sectors in New Zealand more broadly. The PSGF will not fund projects that an organisation or company would be expected to complete as part of its core business. Overview:	Ministry for Primary Industries – Manatū Ahu Matua (MPI) is to procure a new X-Ray Biosecurity Screening Equipment and Support Services solution. MPI requires an X-Ray 2D Dual View solution that is fit for purpose and is future proofed and flexible to meet our business requirements and future increase of demand. Border Clearance Services (BCS) require this project to deliver an x-ray solution that meets the needs of current and future operational and biosecurity settings of each International Airport. The objectives of the X-Ray Replacement Project will be to coordinate and support activities required to replace the end-of-life fleet of x-ray scanners at NZ International Airports. This will contribute to BCS ability to ensure a high performing biosecurity system is maintained in the passenger pathway, and that it provides good value for money. Overview:	Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) workforce operates across a wide range of functions including agriculture, biosecurity, fisheries, food, and forestry. To ensure the safety of employees and others where MPI work is undertaken, individuals in safety sensitive roles are required to undergo drug and alcohol testing. Given the diversity and geographical spread of MPI’s operations, drug and alcohol testing must be available at many MPI sites across New Zealand. The objective of this procurement is to secure a supplier capable of delivering comprehensive drug and alcohol testing services to MPI staff nationwide. The supplier must provide, at minimum, the following: • Onsite pre-employment drug and alcohol testing for safety sensitive roles • Nationwide coverage • 24/7, 365 days per year, on call testing • IANZ, ISO, and AS/NZ compliant testing • Reasonable cause, post incident and accident testing • Provide alcohol breath testing and drug testing using both urine and oral fluid samples that support our required testing regimes. • Testing panels must include at minimum the following substances: Amphetamines, Sedatives, Benzodiazepines, Barbiturates, Cannabis, Cocaine, Methamphetamine, Opiates and Opioids, Synthetic Cannabis and Fentanyl. • Provide expert technical advice • Provide a secure, real-time, online booking and results reporting system. • Provide full chain of custody management across the entire testing process • Deliver initial screening results within 20 minutes, with any positive initial screening results to be laboratory confirmed within 48 hours of the initial test. • Removal and safe disposal of all medical and non-medical waste

Overview:	This RFP relates to the opportunity to provide research to contextualise all quantifiable risk to Southern Buller’s albatross and allow for Fisheries New Zealand to provide management advice that is proportional to that risk which results from fishing within in the New Zealand EEZ. Outputs from this project will include spatial and temporal elements that will allow for the targeting of potential management measures as a way to reduce the impact on overlapping fisheries while also maximising the conservation interventions for Southern Buller’s albatross. The need for any potential management measures can be balanced against the nature and level of any non-fisheries threats and threats from fisheries outside the New Zealand EEZ. This research will also be useful when engaging with fisheries management organisations with members from other nations to advocate for the development, adoption, improvement, and uptake of seabird conservation measures.
