Outputs from this project will include spatial and temporal elements that will allow for the targeting of potential management measures as a way to reduce the impact on overlapping fisheries while also maximising the conservation interventions for Southern Buller’s albatross. The need for any potential management measures can be balanced against the nature and level of any non-fisheries threats and threats from fisheries outside the New Zealand EEZ.
