This is a Request for Information (RFI) to seek general information that will assist Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI)/Health NZ in further defining their requirements for Body Armour.

We want to understand what options are available to us in the body armour space that can support the different operational needs across MPI and Health NZ, integrate with existing equipment each agency may have and enable effective fitting, supply, maintenance and whole-of-life asset management.
Of particular interest is information on solutions that:
• Provide effective, certified protection against the key threats highlighted by both parties
• Are easy to clean and maintain for our frontline staff
• Are available in a comprehensive range of sizes suitable for both male and female wearers
• Offer a practical approach to supply and servicing of Body Armour Systems across all New Zealand regions
