The Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) intends to run an open competitive tender for comprehensive energy management services across its property portfolio. The services will support oversight of energy consumption and costs, utility invoice validation, forecasting and reporting, and the identification of energy-efficiency, cost-saving and carbon-reduction opportunities.
What we need
MPI is seeking a supplier to provide proactive energy management services that help us monitor, analyse, optimise and reduce energy consumption, energy costs and carbon emissions across our property portfolio.
• Energy data collection, validation, analysis and performance reporting, including online access to a reporting portal.
• Monthly dashboards and monthly, quarterly and annual monitoring and targeting reports.
• Utility invoice verification, tariff checking, billing issue management, budgeting and forecasting.
• Site benchmarking, anomaly investigation, savings tracking and identification of efficiency and cost-saving opportunities.
• Advice on energy market conditions, pricing changes, emerging risks and government energy procurements.
• Support for government, regulatory and carbon reporting requirements.
• Transition support, including migration, validation and transfer of required historical energy data.
MPI may also request separately priced services such as site investigations, energy audits, building and HVAC performance reviews, Building Management System optimisation, training, and advice and business cases relating to energy efficiency, electrification and decarbonisation initiatives.
