The Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) is seeking to engage a consultancy services provider to design a delivery-ready Digital Operating Model to support the Digital and Workforce Transformation Programme (DWTP).
MPI’s Digital and Platform Strategy (2022) sets out an approach to modernise its application landscape through enterprise public cloud platforms and the development of common, reusable capabilities across the organisation. This transition is expected to occur over several years and will involve multiple delivery partners. To support this, MPI requires a consistent and scalable operating model that enables product- and platform-based delivery, supported by scaled agile practices. SAFe is MPI’s preferred framework.
This is a targeted short-term engagement (4–6 weeks estimated) consultancy focused on producing a practical, implementable operating model, rather than theoretical frameworks, to enable MPI to commence iterative delivery of priority capabilities (Enterprise Compliance and Enterprise Response).
