Overview

The Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) is seeking an experienced implementation partner to deliver a Biosecurity Artificial Intelligence Research Assistant (BAIRA) pilot.

BAIRA is a Generative AI–enabled initiative that supports MPI’s Regulatory Efficiency Initiative, which aims to significantly reduce the time and effort required to develop and amend Import Health Standards (IHSs).

Through this pilot, MPI intends to introduce AI enabled tools and workflows that support the full lifecycle of standards development, including hazard identification, risk assessment, drafting, consultation, and publication. The successful Respondent will work closely with MPI subject matter experts to design, build, deploy, and support a BAIRA pilot that operates within MPI’s regulatory, security, privacy, and governance environment.
