Te Uru Rākau – New Zealand Forest Service (TUR – NZFS) will soon be going to market for a supplier who can develop and evaluate new carbon yield tables for consideration in the Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS). Specifically, we require tables for Coastal Redwoods and a new reference species for other exotic softwoods. The supplier will need to identify and collate current sources of information that can be used to build the tables and will supplement this with data collected from the field if required.

We intend to go to market with this in November 2023. The opportunity will be advertised under a closed RFx by invitation on the Government Electronic Tenders Service.
