MPI is seeking a Proposal from your organisation for the above noted project, the primary objective of this to determine the relative abundance and distribution of southern inshore finfish species off the east coast of the South Island focusing on: red cod (Pseudophycis bachus), stargazer (Kathetostoma giganteum), sea perch (Helicolenus percoides), tarakihi (Nemadactylus macropterus), spiny dogfish (Squalus acanthius), elephantfish (Callorhinchus milii), red gurnard (Chelidonichthys kumu), and dark ghost shark (Hydrolagus novaezelandiae.
