Overall Objective:

To estimate the abundance of scampi (Metanephrops challengeri) in SCI 3 and 4A using photographic and trawl surveys.


Specific Objectives:

1. To estimate the relative abundance of scampi in SCI 3 and 4A using photographic and trawl techniques.

2. To carry out tagging of scampi or to collect other biological data in SCI 3 and 4A as agreed by Fisheries New Zealand and the research provider.
