Overall Objective:

To carry out stock assessments of southern blue whiting (Micromesistius australis) around Campbell Island (SBW 6I), including estimating biomass and sustainable yields.


Specific Objectives:

1. To update the descriptive analysis of the commercial catch and effort and observer data for SBW 6I.
2. To update the SBW 6I stock assessment including estimating biomass and sustainable yields, the status of the stock in relation to management reference points, and future projections of stock status as required to support management within required timeframes.
3. Broader outcomes.
