Overall Objective:

To collect representative information of the size frequency of commercially caught pāua for input into the stock assessment models.


Specific Objectives:

1. To review the data collection for the commercial catch sampling programme.
2. To collect representative size frequency information on the commercial catch of pāua (Haliotis iris) in PAU 2, PAU 3B, PAU 4, PAU 5A, PAU 5B, PAU 5D, and PAU 7 for the 2022–23, 2023–24, 2024–25 fishing years. The target coefficient of variation (CV) is 20%.
