The Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) is looking to replace four compliance vessels in Tauranga, Whakatane, New Plymouth and Christchurch that are coming to the end of their useful life and have been prioritised for replacement.
The vessels will be 7.5 metres inflatable pontoon, with a hard top, closed, lockable cabin. with 2 x 200hp engines and trailer.
This is a Future Procurement Opportunity (FPO). A FPO has replaced the Annual Procurement Plan information previously available to suppliers on MBIE’s website. A FPO is an alert to suppliers of potential upcoming procurement activity. It does not represent a commitment by MPI to procure, but provides an indication to the market about the potential future activity.
Suppliers can subscribe to this FPO, and MPI may use this list to assist with market research. When the RFx is released, the FPO will be linked to the RFx so that those suppliers who have subscribed to the FPO will get automatically notified of the RFx being released.
