Biosecurity New Zealand is issuing this Registration of Interest (ROI) to seek information on the development of a tool or method to either suppress or eradicate the invasive marine seaweed Undaria pinnatifida (Undaria) on a large scale from natural substrate. This is crucial for the long-term sustainability and success of the Undaria management programme that has run in Fiordland since 2010 and will help to protect Fiordland’s unique marine values.
