Overall Objective:
To complete päua stock monitoring surveys to inform future management decisions at the scale of both the Kaikōura fisheries closure and the PAU 3 area.
Specific Objectives:
1. To monitor the abundance, length-frequency, and growth of adult päua populations to estimate biomass trends to inform management actions at the scale of the fishery closure until mid-2022.
