Overall Objective:
To carry out stock assessments of hake (Merluccius australis) in the Sub-Antarctic (HAK 1) including estimating stock biomass and stock status.

Specific Objectives:
1. To carry out a descriptive analysis of the commercial catch and effort data for hake in the Sub-Antarctic, and update the standardised catch and effort analyses.

2. To update the stock assessment of the Sub-Antarctic hake stock including estimates of current biomass, the status of the stock in relation to management reference points, and future projections of stock status as required to support management.
