Overview

The New Zealand High Commission wishes to advise interested parties of the opportunity to tender for the Enga Electrification Project (EEP) – Tsak Valley Western Sector HV & LV Main Lines, Procurement of Materials and Construction.

The EEP is a NZ$25m Ramu grid extension which New Zealand is co-funding with Australia. The project is implemented through PNG Power Limited and will connect 5,500 households, public buildings, and health clinics in the Tsak Valley of Enga Province.

The Enga Electrification Project (EEP) is a key initiative under the PNG Electrification Partnership (PEP).

The PEP, which comprises the governments of Papua New Guinea, New Zealand, Australia, Japan and the United States, works closely together on sustainable and transformative investments in the energy sector that support PNG’s economic growth and development.
