The New Zealand Government have partnered with the Government of Kiribati to support the Ministry of Health and Medical Services to provide high-level health policy advice and advocacy to the Government of Kiribati. These services form part of a wider package of support to assist the Government of Kiribati with Health Sector support, and forms part of New Zealand’s involvement in Public Service strengthening in Kiribati under the Economic Reform Taskforce. The goal of the Services is to provide health policy advisory services and technical support to Ministry of Health and Medical Services and Foster innovation, knowledge management and capacity building within Ministry of Health and Medical Services.
The Objectives of this role are to:
* Provide health policy advisory services and technical support to Ministry of Health and Medical Services.
* Foster innovation, knowledge management and capacity building within Ministry of Health and Medical Services.
This role will appeal if you are interested in being part of a programme that directly contributes to the enhancement of local communities in Kiribati. The initial assignment will be for up to 24 months full time, with an option to extend to a further 12 months. Anticipated start date early 2020, this role is located in Tarawa, Kiribati.
