The New Zealand Government has partnered with the Government of Tuvalu to support Tuvalu’s financial viability. This support includes a technical adviser to the New Zealand Director on the Tuvalu Trust Fund board (TTF). The preferred candidate is expected to have sound understanding of investment portfolios, is well informed of market performance and has worked in cross-cultural contexts.
The Key Functions for the Investment Adviser are to:
• Provide quality expert financial/investment advice (through the Investment Committee) to the New Zealand Director on the TTF Board.
• Update New Zealand Director on the performance of the TTF after each Investment Committee meeting.
• Attend Investment Committee (IC) meetings that will be held in August and October annually, and the Board Meeting.
• Prepare and submit IC meeting reports to TTF Board and Secretariat within 2 weeks after the Investment Committee meeting.
