The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) is seeking information from suitably qualified vendors for a managed Information and Communications Technology (ICT) network / desktop service (excluding WAN) to be supplied to selected overseas posts.
The information received will inform a future planning exercise that will define a future state for service delivery. This may be retention of the current state where services are delivered on site, a shift to offsite delivery or some mix of both.
To achieve this purpose, this RFI seeks a wide range of potential technology outcomes, including delivery and on-going support. The Ministry is not minded toward any particular technology or deployment approach.
We acknowledge this request for information is wide. However, it will enable us to further develop our understanding of the market and options available.
