On behalf of the Inglewood School Board of Trustees, tenders are sought from Main Contractor Mechanical and Gas Specialist companies to undertake the Heating System and Boiler Replacement Project in its entirety.
The intent of this project is to undertake a general heating system upgrade to Block A, B, C and G and swimming pool, replacing the existing boiler with two new condensing boilers.
Scope of Work as follows:
Work Item 1 New condensing boilers
o New Block A condensing boiler to be installed
o New Block B condensing boiler to be installed.
o Associated pipework and electrical supply to boilers
o Associated carpentry work to existing / new walls in Block B for new boiler.
Work Item 2 Rerouting gas and electrical services
o Removal of existing gas meter adjacent to boiler house
o Abandon existing gas line between Block H Swimming pool meter and demolished boiler house.
o Removal of existing gas meter at swimming pool and replace with new.
o Proposed under bore gas line to condensing boilers etc.
o Relocation of existing hall gas heater to opposite end wall of hall.
o New gas piping to existing Rinnai heaters, hall heater, pool heater and new boilers
Work Item 3. Radiators
o Relocation of existing radiators from Block F due to future rationalisation.
o Existing radiators will be relocated to Block B, Block A
o Works will include associated piping run outs.
