Registrations of Interest are sought from main contractors for two new teaching spaces and shared spaces for Whakawatea, Saxbys Rd., Hamilton. This project will include exterior canopies, decks and ramps, associated services upgrade (including sprinklers), and general siteworks, 

The indicative budget for this project is $380,000 with completion required in Term 1, 2015

Contractors are to provide the following information: (6-8 pages maximum):

• A list of similar type projects undertaken
• Referees & their contact details for those projects
• Labour rates
• Cost margin, overhead & profit, & processing fees on variations & VPR’s
• Confirmation of the contractor’s registration as a Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP)

Contractors will be assessed on the following criteria:

• Relevant experience for this type of education project 40%
• Capability to undertake project of this type 20%
• Quality of workmanship on similar projects 15%
• Variation charges & labour rates 15%
• History of successful contract management 10%
