Melville Intermediate School, Hamilton, are seeking Registrations of Interest from suitably qualified main building contractors only.
Proposed work includes internal refurbishments, replacement of timber joinery with aluminium, soffit replacements and roofing repairs.
The work is planned to be carried out over the December 2014 – January 2015 school holiday period.
Registrations are to be a maximum of 5 x A4 pages and provide the following information:

Tender is lowest price and conforms with tender documents. The company has the ability and resources to complete this work to the required standard and timeframe. The tender is considered very good value for money. The recommended tenderer has missed the cost of supply of the new benchtops ($4,205.50) in their original tender, the tender is then adjusted from the original tender $188,788.36 to $192,933.86. During the post tender review, the school decided to have a PC sum of $4,000 included in lieu of $12,470 quoted for Data alterations (Block E). Therefore a revised tender price of $184,523.86 is recommended for acceptance.
