i. The scope of works for this project is
• Relocation and remediation of the UC Relocatable currently in storage at Smiths Crane and Construction yard. (Design and Build)
• Relocation and remediation of the Portacom building currently located at TKKM o Waitaha (Whakapumau) (Design and Build)
• Design and remediation of the drainage and stormwater situation at the back of the main school building.
• Traffic report as the school have purchased a new bus that doesn’t fit up the driveway and they are having ongoing issues the public parking across there driveway.
ii. The outcome we seek is the delivery of two buildings for the school to decant into while we work on the main school block.
iii. Tarras School is currently experiencing significant mould contamination across existing buildings, creating health, safety, and operational risks for staff and students and limiting the school’s ability to continue normal teaching activities. As an interim mitigation measure, the school requires the urgent provision of a temporary administration block and two compliant teaching spaces to ensure continuity of learning and school operations while remediation and longer-term solutions are progressed.
iv. December 2027 for the whole project to be completed
