Overview

Marlborough Girls’ College – Redevelopment (Stages 2+) – Lead Design Services

Marlborough Girls’ College is a single sex high school located in Blenheim. Previously proposed to be co-located with Marlborough Boys’ College on the same site, this decision was reviewed in 2023/2024 and the decision was made to proceed with redevelopment of both colleges in-situ.
The next steps are to proceed with design and consenting of the redevelopment preferred scope within an affordable context and then deliver the construction works in a packaged/staged manner.
Elements of the preferred scope have already been progressed. Construction of the Old Library refurbishment is currently underway. In addition, design for other components of the programme has been advanced to varying stages beyond preliminary design.
