This project has been identified through the 10YPP as a combination of refurbishment and lifecycle replacement works to existing student toilet facilities and pool changing rooms. The existing amenities are outdated and no longer meet current functional, hygiene, and layout expectations.
The project includes reconfiguration of student toilets into separate unisex facilities, along with full replacement of fixtures, finishes, and services. The pool changing rooms also require significant upgrade, including the removal of asbestos-containing materials (ACM), to ensure the facilities are safe, compliant, and fit for purpose.
