The Contract Works required are:
i. Reclad and repair critical walls on classrooms 1 to 4.
ii. Please note that two pricing options are required as noted on Sht 201:
(a) Pricing Option 1:
(i) Install additional 45x45mm cavity battens between existing battens
ensuring 300mm crs.
(ii) New Axon panel cladding.
(iii) New 'Z' flashing and edge protection board.
(b) Pricing Option 2:
(i) Remove existing cavity battens.
(ii) New Hl.2 or similar standard cavity battens.
(iii) New James Hardie Linea weatherboards.
(iv) New corner trims.
iii. The scale of the works is Medium
iv. Some elements of the project would need to be carried out outside of normal
school hours.
v. Site access is level and flat and offers easy vehicle access.
vi. The Contractor will be engaged through a Medium Works Contract. No Contract
related tags will be considered. The Principal prefers there to be no drawing and
specification related Tags.
