Overview

The contract works include to remove and dispose of the existing fencing and associated components currently on site. This will include the careful dismantling of existing fence structures, posts, and gates, with materials removed from site in accordance with relevant waste and environmental requirements. New fencing will then be supplied and installed, comprising a combination of aluminium and timber fencing systems designed to meet the project’s functional, durability, and safety requirements. The works will also include the installation of new gates, including all necessary hardware, fixings, and adjustments to ensure safe operation and secure access. All works are to be completed to a professional standard, with finished areas made good following installation.

Suppliers are required to describe how their proposed approach will deliver economic benefits to New Zealand, including (but not limited to): Use of local labour for the delivery of the bathroom modification works. Engagement of New Zealand–based subcontractors and trades, including small and medium enterprises where appropriate. Supporting regional employment by sourcing workers from the local area where possible. Use of locally supplied materials where suitable and feasible. Suppliers should provide clear, practical examples of how they will demonstrate these benefits during contract delivery.

All work to comply with manufacturer’s specifications and recommendations.

All tender documentation and necessary information attached.

Contractors MUST visit site for tender to be compliant. Contact the noted representative in Invite Letter to arrange a site visit.

Ideally dependent on MoE funding approval this work would start as soon as possible after confirmation provided, however this will be discussed with the successful contractor and school once funding approvals are confirmed.
