The Project background is:
The project involves the comprehensive refurbishment and extension of the existing Hall at Bohally Intermediate School, located at 41 McLauchlan Street, Springlands, Blenheim. The Hall is currently in poor condition, with significant weathertightness issues, outdated finishes, and insufficient capacity to meet the operational needs of the school and community.

History
The existing Hall no longer meets the requirements of the school due to its condition and limited capacity. The school and asset management have agreed that a more comprehensive refurbishment and extension is required to meet current and future demands.
The intention is that, by the time a Main Contractor is engaged, the lean-to structures connected to the main hall will have been demolished during the school holidays. The Main Contractor will then receive a full handover from the demolition contractor, enabling them to proceed with the full refurbishment, which is scheduled for completion byMay 2026.
